The Race Meetings

This part of the website includes the results for virtually every single motor race held at Ingliston, as well as the race-day programme for every Scottish Motor Racing Club race meeting.

Where possible, race results are shown as copies of the official results bulletins issued by the SMRC during each race meeting; however, where I have been unable to obtain these then the results shown here have been derived from programme notes and contemporary magazine race reports. I would still like to source these ‘missing’ official results sheets, so if anyone reading this can supply me with a copy of any of these then I would love to hear from you!

I also have to add a special thanks to John Brown, who not only painstakingly researched and compiled the race results for those races where I was unable to locate official results sheets, but has also spent many hours creating spreadsheets which summarise the race results for most of the 1970’s. John has also compiled an incredibly detailed list of all Ingliston’s race-winning drivers – see "Ingliston Wins by Driver" at the bottom of this page!
